Assistant Director of Athletics

The Assistant Director of Athletics will provide leadership and management of the sports program at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have experience in sports administration, coaching, or a related field, and possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The Assistant Director of Athletics will oversee all aspects of the sports program, including scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and facilities management. They will also develop and implement strategies to increase participation and revenue growth in the sports program.
The Assistant Director of Athletics will work closely with the Sports Director, coaches, and staff to ensure the successful operation of the sports program. This includes managing Maccabi Season timelines, recruiting coaches and athletes, organizing pre- and post-event programs, and working with marketing on program outreach.
The Assistant Director of Athletics will also oversee the development and implementation of new programs and services, and will be responsible for evaluating program effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (sports management, education, business, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sports administration, coaching, or a related field
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
