About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Communications Specialist to join our team. As the Scientific Communications Specialist, you will collaborate with our team to shape, create, and revise scientific communications pieces for various outlets, including print, visual, and digital media.

  • Provide developmental editing, substantive editing, copyediting, proofreading, word-for-word checking, and final reads as needed.
  • Review content for accuracy, correctness, consistency, readability, and adherence to professional and industry standards.
  • Evaluate projects for accessibility and fit for intended use.
Requirements

A Masters degree is required, with a doctoral degree preferred. Postdoctoral research experience is also required, with over 5 years' experience in medical and scientific communication.

  • Proficient in English grammar, style, and usage rules; Microsoft Office suite; and digital editing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job Details: Full-time position with a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
