This key position establishes strategic initiatives, develops quality priorities, aligns quality analytics, and facilitates collaboration across the network of 14 hospitals, service lines, and ambulatory health care settings.
The successful candidate will evaluate, design, lead, and implement a coordinated approach to clinical quality performance and processes, sharing learning across the RWJBH system.
A proactive leader with influence, change management skills, and collaboration expertise is essential for this role, ensuring clinical excellence of quality outcomes.
The ideal candidate will develop the vision for an RWJBH Quality Center for Innovation and Excellence as the engine for RWJBH s academic health system performance improvement skills/competency development, shared learning to support local operational leaders performance needs in quality, safety, and patient experience.
This role will provide primary operational support to our hospitals, matrixing with embedded local quality resources team members as a subject matter expert for quality-related performance improvement projects and prioritized system focus areas.
The System Director PI will also matrix with the RWJBH System Performance Improvement operational arm to align on methods, tools, and support system-wide competency development in improvement and sustainability methods and with the System Advanced Data Analytics team supporting quality improvement.
