Job Title: Information Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join our team at Linqto. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security measures to protect our company's data and IT infrastructure from potential threats.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in formulating security standards and best practices, analyzing vulnerabilities, and developing incident response protocols. You will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security standards and best practices for the organization
  • Analyze and identify vulnerabilities in computer systems and networks
  • Design and implement incident response protocols to effectively handle security breaches
  • Educate staff on network and information security procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security systems, standards, and products to stay ahead of potential threats

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP or CISM
  • Prior experience in a related field, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of various network architectures, IT infrastructure, and operating systems
  • Robust problem-solving skills and the capacity to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent understanding of ethical hacking and the ability to identify potential threats proactively
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical staff

Job Type:

Full-Time, Remote

Compensation:

$120K-$160K Commensurate on experience. Salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Linqto's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include equity options, bonus programs, health, vision, dental, and disability insurance, life insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
