Pest Control Technician Job Description

At Rollins, we're dedicated to protecting the world where we live, work, and play. As a Pest Control Technician, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete our comprehensive training program and learn the skills required to manage a pest control service route
  • Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
  • Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services that meet their needs for a complete pest management program
  • Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing in-depth training to decide on the most efficient and effective pest solution for each customer's needs
  • Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage a handheld device for speed and accuracy
  • Serve as a key member of the local branch team

Requirements:

  • Good driving record and ability to pass a drug screen
  • Meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties with or without accommodations
  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions

Education:

  • High School/GED or better

Experience:
