Electro-Mechanical Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team at WITRON Service America. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining our state-of-the-art automated material handling system in a fast-paced distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approach all tasks and situations with a safety-first mindset, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your team.
  • Enhance system performance and minimize downtime through effective maintenance activities.
  • Engage in a wide range of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Assist the production team with basic fault correction, coaching, and troubleshooting.
  • Aid in the installation of new components or the refurbishment of existing system components.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in industrial technology or related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a relevant electrical and/or mechanical role required, five (5) years plus preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing.
  • Working at heights of up to feet while wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE.
  • Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
