About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Technician/Mechanic III to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
- Work with our team to ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and meet safety standards
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- 2+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of equipment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
