Job Title: Medical Laboratory Assistant

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our laboratory team in providing high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist laboratory staff with various tasks, including specimen collection, processing, and testing.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, such as centrifugation, pipetting, and microscopy.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results and patient information.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a life science or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a medical laboratory.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
