Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a range of maintenance activities on various aircraft and associated systems, including the removal and installation of panels and components, as well as repair and sheet metal work.
  • Perform advanced mechanic tasks that require a high level of expertise, including mentoring junior technicians and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Inspect, disassemble, and evaluate engines and components for signs of wear, damage, or defects, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly.
  • Service and maintain aircraft systems through various tasks, such as flushing crankcases, cleaning filters, greasing components, and inspecting braking systems.
  • Utilize testing equipment to assess engine and system performance, listening for any irregularities that may indicate malfunctions.
  • Safely remove and install engines using appropriate lifting equipment.
  • Modify and disassemble aircraft structures and systems according to technical documentation and engineering directives.
  • Interpret maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the best approach for repairing or replacing faulty components.
  • Adjust and calibrate aircraft systems using precision tools and gauges.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the workshop and tools as needed.
  • Work independently on specific projects when required.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s Degree in Aviation Technology is preferred along with specific training for aircraft models.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing corporate aircraft.
  • Possession of a valid FAA A&P License is mandatory.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required; familiarity with Aviation Maintenance Software such as Corridor is advantageous.
Attendance:
  • Regular attendance is essential, with the ability to work overtime and alternate shifts as necessary based on operational needs.
Compliance:
  • A valid driver’s license and US Passport are preferred; candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with ongoing drug and alcohol testing protocols.
Initiative:
  • Must be self-driven, capable of working without supervision, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Quality-focused with a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • All work must adhere to applicable FAA regulations, company standards, and safety protocols.
  • Follow all company policies and safety guidelines during job performance.
  • Exhibit a customer service-oriented approach in all interactions.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform routine physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Manual tasks require repetitive motions with hands and arms.
  • Work is conducted in a hangar environment with varying temperature conditions.
