Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Excite Health Partners in Peoria, IL. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the State of Illinois.
  • Current American Heart BLS card.
  • Advanced knowledge in mechanical ventilation.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.
