Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years

Core Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee behavioral and skill development plans tailored to individual needs using the Psycho-Educational Model (PEM)
  • Exemplify healthy relationships with both youth and colleagues
  • Instruct on essential life skills, including meal preparation
  • Participate in consultation meetings
  • Ensure a secure and nurturing environment for all youth
  • Assist in managing medical and physical needs of the youth
  • Contribute to the preparation of youth summaries and documentation
  • Support the intake and departure processes for youth
  • Engage in Safe Crisis Management when necessary
  • Maintain and update youth records
  • Take part in shift transition discussions
  • Attend regular staff meetings and daily feedback sessions
  • Transport youth to various locations, including educational and medical appointments

Compensation Details:

Hourly wage of $18.00, with an additional $3.00 per hour shift differential. Compensation may increase based on relevant residential experience and/or possession of a Bachelor's degree.

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, database management software, training applications, and timekeeping systems is essential.
