Responsibilities- Observe best practices in classroom instruction and education reform from experienced teachers and school leaders;
- Co-teach with teacher-leaders and provide in-house substitute teaching coverage for teachers;
- Support teachers with tutoring, grading, and individual or small group student instruction;
- Teach classes on behalf of Deans and teacher-leaders who are observing other teachers;
- Develop teaching skills to potentially become a full-time teacher at the school;
- Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards;
- Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards;
- Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions, events, and trips;
- Serve as an advisor to a small group of students;
- Help to co-lead advisory/homeroom in the morning and afternoon;
We offer a competitive salary of $59,000, paid time off, and comprehensive health insurance plans. Additionally, we provide extensive training and development opportunities, including financial planning and wellness benefits.
