Bilingual Youth Service Specialist

Job Summary:
The Bilingual Youth Service Specialist will work closely with the Family Advocate to identify community resources and provide cognitive-behavioral and Life Skills groups to youth. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish or Portuguese and English, with a strong community connections and knowledge base.
Responsibilities:- Research and maintain a list of community resources from each town within the catchment area.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community providers.
- Maintain an organized log of time in the community and connections made.
- Provide resources to Juvenile Probation Officers seeking information about resources in a specific community.
- Facilitate cognitive-behavioral group interventions focused on addressing risk relevant factors identified by the risk/needs assessment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Community Organizing, Human Services, Sociology, or at least 2 years' experience and knowledge working with juvenile justice system and/or working with communities.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese and English.
