Job Summary

The Southeast Application Consortium seeks a skilled Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our school buildings and grounds. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain school building interiors and exteriors, including floors, walls, and windows
  • Operate cleaning and snow removal equipment, as well as standard office equipment
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including painting and handling hazardous materials
  • Ensure compliance with school board policies and procedures, as well as life safety procedures
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with building staff, students, and the public
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • General knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to read cleaning supply labels and requirements for handling
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with a schedule of 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $17.43-$18.76 per hour, depending on experience.
