We are a world leader in micro-precision 3D printing industry, and we are looking for experts in 3D cell biology, tissue engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or similar fields. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will be part of an innovative and highly productive team committed to the convergence of cutting-edge 3D printing technology and organ-on-a-chip platforms.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop in vitro 3D biological models via organ-on-a-chip approaches.
- Establish assays with standard techniques for validating functionalities of 3D tissues, which could benefit the drug discovery and/or cosmetics testing applications.
- Identify and resolve project challenges to advance scientific understanding and best practice.
- Communicate and report project findings, lead the preparation of presentations and the writing of manuscripts.
- Collaborate with other scientists, provide scientific mentorship to guide the junior team members.
- PhD degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Tissue Engineering, Pharmaceutical sciences, or similar field.
- Significant hands-on experience with primary cells, cell lines, 3D tissue models, and 3D disease models.
- Profound experience in drug testing and/or cosmetic testing.
- Solid proficiency in in vitro 3D bioanalytical assays, such as cytotoxicity, ELISA, qPCR, gene expression analysis, flow cytometry, immunostaining, and confocal microscopy.
- Professional writing skills and the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with a broad range of people, including staff colleagues, outside agencies and collaborators.
- Problem-solving skills sufficient to identify issues, conduct research, and develop solutions.
- Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and collaborative team environment.
- Strong record of publications in in vitro 3D biology and organs-on-chips technologies.
- Hands-on experience with in vitro 3D biology with a focus on in vitro-in vivo correlation.
