Position Overview

This role transcends the traditional Financial Analyst position. Our business partners span various departments, sister companies, and our parent organization, along with our valued clients. If you are eager to enhance your analytical capabilities and business insight, we invite you to explore this opportunity.

The Corporate Finance Analyst is responsible for delivering reporting and analysis for national vending and office coffee clients, while also assisting the Senior Financial Analyst and department manager with ad-hoc analysis requests.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct reports and profitability assessments.
  • Coordinate and reconcile inter-company commission transactions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies.
  • Create trend analyses for clients and internal stakeholders as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with Senior Client Services Directors and client contacts.
  • Generate accurate and timely ad-hoc reports for clients and Senior Financial Analysts.
  • Ensure proper setup of assigned clients to minimize order adjustments and inaccuracies in reporting.
  • Deliver all client commission payments and reports punctually.
  • Balance intercompany commission transfers and submit for processing.
  • Complete all assigned financial analyses and projects by agreed deadlines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Preferred experience of one (1) year, with two (2) years strongly preferred, in general ledger, financial reporting, financial analysis, and auditing.
  • Strong skills in relational databases and/or enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) are essential.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; advanced proficiency is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility to meet deadlines are necessary.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with minimal direction.
  • Understanding of the financial implications of business decisions and the ability to quantify those implications is crucial.
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or J.D. Edwards or equivalent software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Business Objects or similar reporting tools is advantageous.
  • Experience with MS Access databases is preferred.
