Job Description

UMFS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Residential Manager to oversee and provide residential services management within a therapeutic milieu. The successful candidate will provide support for youth and staff by responding to all codes or calls to the on-call phone during scheduled shifts. Ensuring prompt and adequate response to crisis situations, and work to deescalate youth as needed, and working directly with Support Coaches to provide a safe and secure environment for youth, assisting with problem solving and issue resolution.

The Youth Residential Manager will also be responsible for accurate record keeping, documentation and data entry of medical administration records, daily treatment interventions, and other required documents using current agency electronic systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide residential services management within a therapeutic milieu
  • Respond to all codes or calls to the on-call phone during scheduled shifts
  • Ensure prompt and adequate response to crisis situations
  • Work to deescalate youth as needed
  • Assist with problem solving and issue resolution
  • Accurate record keeping, documentation and data entry of medical administration records, daily treatment interventions, and other required documents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services related area with a minimum of 3 years related experience and six-months of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' related experience may substitute for degree
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, direct and coordinate the activities of a residential program or similar services program
  • Strong written, verbal and problem solving skills required
