About Our Organization

Background

The Cortland Child Development Day Care Program has been dedicated to providing early care and education since 1974, serving the children of working parents and students.

As a not-for-profit organization, we are licensed by the State of New York, offering programs for infants through preschoolers, as well as recreational care for school-aged children throughout the year. We prioritize enrollment for children with special needs.

Our Mission

We aim to create safe and nurturing environments that foster creative learning:

  • Providing attentive supervision for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children while their parents are engaged in work or education.
  • Implementing a sliding fee scale based on household composition to enhance accessibility and affordability for the diverse communities we serve.
  • Building partnerships with local educational institutions to enrich the experiences of our children and their families.
  • Offering professional development opportunities for individuals seeking hands-on experience in early childhood education.
