Role Overview:
We are in search of a committed and knowledgeable Safety Training Coordinator to enhance our team. The main focus of this position is to deliver extensive safety training across various operational sectors, including essential topics such as CPR, confined space safety, and fire safety protocols. The ideal candidate will assist in revising training materials, organizing schedules, and preparing for future training requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate safety training workshops for different operational sectors, addressing critical subjects such as CPR, confined space safety, and fire safety.
- Design and update training materials and resources, ensuring they remain current and applicable.
- Establish and oversee training schedules, preparing the organization for future training demands.
- Employ systematic methodologies for training design and assessment.
- Travel to various operational sites to conduct training sessions as required.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and provide insights for program enhancements.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Develop and follow a structured training timetable.
- Travel to multiple operational sites to deliver training sessions (50-70% travel, including some overnight stays).
- Maintain a standard work schedule with some flexibility. Overtime is infrequent.
- Utilize a personal vehicle for travel, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Team Dynamics:
- Report to a supervisor and collaborate with three team members and a coordinator.
- Engage in regular team meetings to ensure alignment on objectives and progress.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
