Skanska is seeking a skilled Waterfront Superintendent to lead field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project. This role ensures work is performed in a safe, timely, profitable, and ethical manner, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule. The successful candidate will directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate field operations to ensure project goals are met
- Supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents
- Ensure work is performed in a safe and timely manner
- Manage project budget and schedule
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in construction operations
- 8+ years of proven construction experience
- 5+ years of experience coordinating subcontractor activities
- 3+ years of experience creating and managing project schedules
- 3+ years of experience with planning and logistics
- 2+ years of experience with reading and understanding plans, specifications, and subcontractor contracts
- 2+ years of experience mentoring and managing other Superintendents
