Position Summary

As a Front Desk Representative at Fitness Connection, you will play a vital role in shaping the experience of our members and guests on a daily basis. Your Daily Responsibilities

Guest Engagement:
  • Prioritize connections with members and guests, ensuring everyone receives a warm greeting and a sincere farewell.
  • Engage all members and guests with friendly interactions.
  • Check in each member following established procedures.
  • Register all guests accurately.
  • Answer phone calls promptly using appropriate communication standards.
  • Assist in directing telephone inquiries appropriately.
  • Guide guests and appointments to the relevant Fitness Consultant in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and communication hub.
Retail Operations:
  • Promote and sell beverages, snacks, supplements, and merchandise.
  • Achieve or surpass daily and monthly retail goals.
  • Maintain and organize retail displays as necessary.
  • Familiarize yourself with the consumable and retail products available.
  • Ensure the retail area is kept tidy and monitored throughout your shift.
  • Utilize point-of-sale systems and adhere to money handling protocols accurately.
Member and Club Services:
  • Facilitate member and guest check-ins and address basic member account inquiries.
  • Monitor check-ins to identify overdue accounts and collect outstanding balances.
  • Update member information and escalate issues to club management as required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk and entrance area.
  • Perform opening and closing tasks as needed.
  • Conduct regular cleaning routines within the club.
  • Report any incidents promptly.
  • Foster positive relationships with the entire club team.
  • Support fellow team members in achieving their objectives.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous.
  • Ability to comprehend, follow, and convey verbal and written instructions.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Physical requirements include various activities such as bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
