Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse to join our team at Accede Solutions Inc in Peoria, IL. As a Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the interdisciplinary team by applying professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
  • Utilize the nursing process to promote evidence-based practice and clinical excellence.
  • Assess patient status through interview, observation, and physical assessment to identify actual problems and outcomes.
  • Develop an individualized plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and healthcare team.
  • Implement appropriate interventions identified in the plan of care to achieve expected patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate and document patient progress toward expected outcomes/goals on an ongoing basis throughout the shift.
  • Modify the plan of care based on evaluation and complete required documentation as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate professional accountability for own practice and technical knowledge of equipment.
  • Promote the professional development of self and team members.
  • Share clinical knowledge through normal teaching and in response to the learning needs of others.
  • Demonstrate a practical problem-solving approach to patient moving and handling issues.
  • Possess knowledge and skills necessary to obtain adequate lab specimens for testing.
  • Perform patient bedside lab testing and associated quality control in compliance with medical provider's orders and hospital lab procedures/policies.
  • Traveler MUST be COVID vaccinated. Medical/Religious exemptions must be approved prior to submission.
  • All candidates' permanent addresses MUST be over 60 miles from this facility.
Requirements
  • 1.5 years of current OR experience in a hospital setting
  • Open Heart Surgical experience - Required
  • NEED: Resume, skills checklist for position, 2 supervisory reference, license verification, certifications, COVID vaccine/declination.
