Job Title: Senior Grant Accountant

Join Bassett Healthcare Network as a Senior Grant Accountant and play a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity of our grant programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of grant accounting, including contract review, expense verification, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage grant accounting tasks, including general ledger postings, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and private agency rules and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Office of Grants Management and Research, to ensure seamless grant management
  • Prepare and review grants and contracts expenditures prior to submissions for completeness and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with funding agencies and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in grants management, preferably in healthcare or higher education
  • Excellent attention to detail, written communication skills, and analytical skills
