Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team at IMA North America Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate customer invoices and ensure timely payment
  • Research and resolve billing and account discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate customer files and update records as necessary
  • Assist the accounting manager in monthly reconciliation of revenue accounts
  • Provide special reports reflecting current status of customer accounts
  • Verify deposits and post to accounts receivable
  • Prepare vouchers and special information on appropriate invoices
  • Duplicate, file, and retrieve accounts receivable material as needed
  • Research and analyze customer accounts
  • Generate aging reports
  • Contact delinquent customers to secure payment
  • Manage and resolve customer inquiries

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field
  • SAP experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent, certificate in accounting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
