Nursing Professor and Family Nurse Practitioner

Brenau University is seeking a qualified Nursing Professor and Family Nurse Practitioner to join our faculty team. As a key member of our academic community, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our graduate nursing program.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Mentoring: Provide a learning environment that supports student success, teaching synchronous or asynchronous courses as assigned, and developing and revising class syllabi.
- Student Support: Maintain office hours, ensure timely management of electronic correspondence, and partner with Academic Advisors to address student concerns.
- Grading and Reporting: Maintain and submit accurate and timely reports for student grades/progress, and deliver final grades to the Registrar's Office according to the academic calendar.
- Departmental Responsibilities: Attend department and faculty meetings, and perform additional duties as assigned by the School.
- Doctoral Degree: Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, EdD) in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
- Certification: National Board Certification as an Family Nurse Practitioner, with dual certified AGACNP/FNP preferred.
- Experience: Recent clinical experience as an FNP or AGACNP in an NP role, with two to four years related experience and/or training.
- Skills: Exceptional computer skills using Microsoft Office applications and G-suite applications, and ability to work effectively on campus or in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
This position is an on-ground position in Norcross, GA, and requires licensure and certification as specified in the job description.
