Cleveland Clinic's Mercy Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse Resident to join our Medical Telemetry Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work alongside experienced caregivers to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in a comprehensive residency program to develop your nursing skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with a success coach to provide direct nursing care and establish priorities for patient care.
- Respond to patient needs and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
- Document patient information in medical records and seek supervision when needed.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
- Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
