Auto Body Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team at Gerber Collision & Glass. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of our WOW plan to deliver speed, quality, and customer excellence.
- Plan and prepare cost estimates for customers, utilizing various tools and equipment to repair vehicle sections.
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including glass and windshields, as needed.
- Weld and attach parts into place, and prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
- Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure all work has been executed correctly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
- Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
- Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
- Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.
