Trial Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Trial Attorney to join our team at State Farm Insurance. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures, as well as outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseload.

The selected candidate will be responsible for working in a hybrid role, meaning that they will spend some time in the office and virtually. The position is based in Jericho, NY, with a satellite office in Westchester (Harrison), NY. We provide a congenial, team-oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff.

**Requirements:**

• Law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• An active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the state bar
• 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
• Experience working in a paperless environment
• Experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
• Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation

**What We Offer:**

• Potential salary range: $125,625.00-$160,000.00 (starting salary will be based on background and experience)
• Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary (results may vary from year to year)
