Position Summary

The Logistics and Procurement Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing team at Westgate Resorts. This position involves collaborating with Project Buyers and Management to enhance the supply chain processes.

The analyst will assist in operations purchasing, strategic sourcing, and inventory management through comprehensive reporting, data analysis, and database oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement dashboards for Procurement & Sourcing to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis.
  • Analyze supplier performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Conduct category analysis to uncover opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Examine tail spend and explore possibilities for automation or savings through standardization.
  • Identify frequently purchased items through punch-out processes.
  • Manage the Oracle Fusion database, including the creation and updating of items and supplier networks.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for automated reporting.
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.
  • Support data cleanup initiatives to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Analyze data to identify potential savings by integrating items into warehouse inventory.
  • Engage in system testing activities and collaborate with IT to meet system-related requirements.
  • Create and maintain process documentation to enhance efficiency in Purchasing, Sourcing, and Inventory.
  • Compile a frequently asked questions document for the resort operations team.
  • Monitor and assist with IT tickets related to Purchasing, Sourcing, and Inventory.
  • Maintain a categorized list of registered suppliers for each resort.
Qualifications:

Candidates must demonstrate sound business judgment in decision-making.

Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint) is essential, with the ability to learn automated purchasing systems like Oracle. Familiarity with Tableau and Power BI is advantageous.

Strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills are required, along with meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, and candidates should be self-motivated and capable of working under pressure.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, analytics, or a related field is required. Previous project management experience is preferred.

Supply chain management certification is a plus.
