Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Head and Neck Surgery Specialist

Broward Health Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in the Head and Neck Surgery department. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our fellowship-trained head and neck oncologic surgery specialist, Dr. Ryan H. Sobel, MD, to provide comprehensive care to patients with head and neck tumors.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and care for patients with head and neck tumors, including benign and malignant conditions
  • Perform diagnostic endoscopies and minor procedures under the direction of Dr. Sobel
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with head and neck tumors
  • Participate in educational activities, including teaching residents and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing for APRN
  • 3 or more years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in designated specialty preferred
  • Must have prescriptive authority within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to achieve and maintain Active RN and APNP license in State of Florida AND Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC and/or the AANP
