Job Title: PT Anthropology Instructor

Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a part-time anthropology instructor to join our team. As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach courses in physical and cultural anthropology, contributing to the academic success of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in anthropology, including physical and cultural anthropology.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to promote student learning.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, including office hours and advising.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and other faculty activities.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in anthropology or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in anthropology, preferably at the community college level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse student populations.
  • Ability to use technology, including learning management systems and online platforms.
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
