The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a variety of commercial, industrial, and multifamily projects up to $30M, utilizing their expertise to drive growth and success.
Job DescriptionThe Estimator will be responsible for:
- Analyzing construction blueprints and documents to prepare detailed estimates, including time frames, costs, material, and labor requirements.
- Preparing bid packages, development budgets, and analyzing subcontractor bids for use in conceptual and bid proposal estimates.
- Establishing material pricing and conducting takeoffs.
- Collaborating closely with the construction project management team to maintain accurate estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Consulting with vendors and internal project teams to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience with a General Contractor.
- Ability to perform take-offs and organize material pricing effectively.
- A self-motivated individual who understands the importance of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project/estimating-related software, including iSqFt, ProCore, Sage, and On-Screen Takeoff.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
In return for your expertise, our client offers a competitive compensation package, including:
- A base salary ranging from $90,000 to $125,000, depending on experience, with flexibility contingent on performance.
- A potential discretionary bonus.

- A phone allowance.
- Generous paid time off.
- A per diem allowance when traveling, plus lodging near the project site.
