Job Title: Echocardiographer

Overview

This PRN position involves working at Mint Hill Medical Center, covering shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiography studies, including TEES and Stress ECHOs.
  • Recognize, calculate, interpret, and analyze hemodynamic data from echocardiography studies.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • High School or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred.
  • Graduate from a formal Cardiovascular Program, preferred.
  • Two years of echocardiography experience, preferred.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer, credentials RDCS or RCS, required.

Additional Skills

  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s)' age.
