Job Summary

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to become our Coordinator of Quality Management. This role is responsible for coordinating the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of performance data related to specified quality improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Abstract and analyze data for the Core Measures, FMQAI project, and other assigned patient care outcome initiatives.
  • Coordinate Performance Improvement Committees/Teams, including meeting preparation, setting agendas, writing minutes, and ensuring follow-up has been completed.
  • Prepare physician reappointment quality profiles and other physician-related performance improvement projects as assigned.
  • Facilitate assigned process improvement initiatives using problem-solving methodology, root cause analysis, and/or Failure, Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with all members of the departmental team and communicate any service concerns to the director immediately.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Completion of RN Diploma program or related healthcare program.
  • One to three years of recent experience within an acute clinical practice or related healthcare position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
