Your Responsibilities:
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues related to card access systems, CCTV, burglar alarms, electronic fire alarms, and other related building system products at client locations. Your role will involve:

  • Delivering exceptional service to address building inefficiencies and service-related concerns.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing timely solutions and outcomes.
  • Following established troubleshooting protocols and utilizing technical manuals and bulletins for equipment repairs.
  • Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting card access, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems.
  • Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals.
  • Exhibiting strong customer service skills through effective communication with clients and staff.
  • Completing service acknowledgments accurately using communication devices.
  • Being available for on-call emergency service as needed.
  • Providing recommendations to enhance facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities.
  • Preparing quotes to support your recommendations.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

What We Seek:
• 1-3 years of documented experience with card access and CCTV systems.
• Proficiency with test equipment, multi-meters, and commissioning devices.
• Experience in installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming security systems.
• Familiarity with fire alarm systems is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operational manuals.
• Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Physical ability to handle equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
• Willingness to work in various positions, including heights and confined spaces.
• Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Knowledge of applicable NFPA standards.
