Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Record daily cash transactions to ensure accurate allocations and intercompany entries.
- Prepare month-end closing entries, including accruals, amortization, and expense allocations.
- Conduct intercompany analyses and reconciliations.
- Perform variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Reconcile sub-ledger balances with general ledger accounts.
- Review trial balances for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Maintain adherence to internal control frameworks and best practices.

Essential Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
- Relevant Experience: 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with a background in Public Accounting Audit.
- Fundamental Accounting Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic accounting principles is essential for success in this role.
