Procurement Agent Job Description

Complete Filtration Resources, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Agent to join our team. The Procurement Agent will be responsible for issuing project purchase orders, maintaining strong vendor relationships, negotiating payment terms and warranties, and ensuring the accuracy of deliveries and vendor invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing: Issue and manage purchase orders for various projects, ensuring timely and accurate placement.
  • Vendor Relationships and Compliance: Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate vendor payment terms, pricing, and warranty agreements to achieve optimal terms for the organization.
  • Accuracy of Deliveries and Invoices: Monitor and verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders and project requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Agent, Procurement Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
