Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to determine students' needs and strengths.
- Analyze students performance in various activities, including academic, self-care, and social skills.
- Collaborate with students, families, and educators to set realistic and achievable goals.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that include OT services.
- Create intervention plans that can be delivered via teletherapy, focusing on enhancing students' functional abilities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group teletherapy sessions using virtual tools and resources to engage students in therapy activities.
- Work with teachers, special educators, and other related service providers to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Communicate with families to provide guidance and strategies for home practice.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Estimated Salary Range:
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
