Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee the evolution of online shopping experiences. The eCommerce Item Experience division is dedicated to crafting engaging shopping journeys that resonate with our customers. As a Senior Manager in Technology Operations focusing on Item Page and Content, you will be integral to enhancing the Item Experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the strategy and execution of Walmart's online experiences on the Product Details Page (PDP). Identify customer needs and operational requirements while developing and communicating actionable plans.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze key performance indicators to assess content effectiveness. Regularly evaluate operational metrics and web analytics to report on item page content quality and identify improvement opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure alignment with business and cross-functional partners by continuously evaluating the effectiveness of current initiatives and soliciting feedback for enhancements.
- Policy Advocacy: Promote adherence to company policies and ethical standards by training team members and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
- Operational Excellence: Lead essential operational processes, including business reviews and the management of project intake processes, to establish efficient workflows.
- Travel Requirements: This role may involve limited travel, approximately 0-15% per month.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or 6+ years of experience in site merchandising, content management, eCommerce, or project management.
- Experience in strategy, content development, marketing, or account management.
- Background in eCommerce or retail environments.
- A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in research and project management.
