About the Team

The Dose Formulations team is a chemistry-focused team that works with pharmaceutical products in a laboratory setting. Our team prepares vehicles, diets, solutions, and capsules with test material according to study protocols and standard operating procedures.

Internship Assignment Summary

As an intern, you will learn how to review and interpret study protocols for test material formulation procedures, ensuring that study tasks are conducted according to protocol, SOPs, and Good Laboratory Practices. You will also learn to collect and record data, perform study calculations, and use laboratory equipment appropriate for assigned tasks.

You will have the opportunity to serve as a lead technician, assist with study set up and management, and develop your skills in data organization, quality assurance, and internal and external client communication. Additionally, you will learn about the safe handling of test materials, formulation verification, and storage of prepared test materials.

Education and Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, you must be an undergraduate student working towards a bachelor's degree. We offer paid internships for current students in a variety of degree programs, including biological sciences, chemistry, animal science, computer science, healthcare, and business/marketing.
