We are seeking highly qualified candidates for Associate or Full Professor positions in Biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will have expertise in biostatistical methods development and applications, with a strong track record of research leadership and extramural grant funding.
Key Responsibilities- Develop innovative leading-edge statistical methodology
- Conduct team science research projects within the Perelman School of Medicine
- Teach biostatistics courses in epidemiology, health policy, and other biomedical programs
- Mentor students and junior faculty members
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Biostatistics or a related field
- Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring
- Experience in statistical methods development and applications
- Ability to establish oneself as a research leader in their area of specialization
- Experience in statistical methods for electronic health records, longitudinal data analysis, missing data, imaging statistics, or causal inference
- Interest in health disparities and health equity or pediatric research
- Experience in cancer and clinical trials research
