We are seeking a safety-conscious individual to join La Porte Fire Department as a Transportation Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to become CDL certified school bus drivers in Texas.
Job Responsibilities:- Attend all required bus driver training sessions and obtain necessary certifications
- Monitor students on the bus and ensure their safety at all times, adhering to departmental guidelines
- Report any incidents or accidents to the supervisor promptly and accurately
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; candidates must be at least 18 years old
- Holding a valid Texas Driver's License is mandatory
- Candidates must maintain a clean and safe environment for students and adhere to MVR standards
The estimated salary range for this position is $13.85 - $19.52 per hour. We offer a competitive pay scale with opportunities for career advancement within the La Porte Fire Department.
