About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Superintendent to join our team at Summit Design + Build in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Site Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, manage materials and equipment, and enforce job site safety and quality control.
  • Communication: Engage in regular project meetings and communication with the project team, subcontractors, and clients, maintaining professional standards and company representation.
  • Problem-Solving: Conduct regular inspections, manage schedules, and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during construction.
Requirements
  • Experience: A proven track record of construction supervision with a minimum of years of experience.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, and safety regulations.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills and a history of completing mid-rise and high-rise buildings, adaptive reuse, and urban infill projects on schedule.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and familiarity with construction management software like Procore.
  • Education: High school diploma is required; additional education in construction management or a related field is a plus.
