Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing private duty nursing services to pediatric and adult patients in their own homes. As an RN with Maxim Healthcare Services, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and promoting patient independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans to promote patient independence and well-being.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patient responses to interventions.
  • Document patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
