Key Responsibilities:
- Function as an essential member of the healthcare team, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, conduct medical exams, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Prescribe medications and treatments, and provide patient education on health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Maintain a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with both Medical and Osteopathic licenses preferred.
- Collaborative agreement approved through the state within 3 months of start date.
- National certification required.
- DEA required within 6 months of start date.
- Current Healthcare provider CPR through the American Heart Association required at time of hire.
- Maintains ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
