Extended Care Program Lead Teacher

About the Role:

Ecole Notre Dame des Victoires, a Catholic elementary school in downtown San Francisco, is seeking a lead teacher for its extended care program. The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-age children and provide academic support to students in all grades.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise indoor and outdoor activities for students from Transitional Kindergarten to Grade 8.
  • Supervise homework and provide academic support as needed.
  • Maintain discipline and work closely with the program director to coordinate assignments for tutors.
  • Serve as a resource to tutors by answering questions and providing guidance.
  • Assist with preparing and serving snacks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including playground supervision.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with school-age children in a similar setting.
  • Able to provide academic support to students in all grades.
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • A positive attitude and flexibility.
  • Ability to work well with adults and enjoy working with children.
  • Comfortable working in a Catholic school environment.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
Salary:

The estimated salary range for this role is $54,500 to $104,931 per year, plus benefits, based on the Archdiocese of San Francisco Elementary Annual Salary Scale.
