Lead Day Habilitation Specialist Opportunity

ACLD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Day Habilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Day Habilitation Program, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve their personal goals and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide structure and emotional support to program participants
  • Assist in resolving behavioral issues and promoting positive behaviors
  • Help individuals with personal hygiene and daily living skills
  • Complete accurate and detailed documentation
  • Transport participants to and from volunteer and pre-vocational activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
  • One year of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred
  • Clean and valid NYS Driver's License required
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Willingness to complete trainings in SCIP, CPR, and AMAP
Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Salary Range:

Competitive hourly rate with potential for differential in some programs/locations
