Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Testing Technician I to join our team at Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing testing observation on assigned field projects, ensuring compliance with applicable specifications and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field tests and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Collect and prepare samples for testing, and document test results and activities.
  • Communicate test results and activities to project supervisors and stakeholders.
  • Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve testing and inspection issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in construction materials testing or a related field.
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I Certification.
  • Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety Training Certification.
  • Understanding of Proctor Compaction Test and USCS Soil Classification.
  • Trained and demonstrated competency in One-Point Proctor testing in the field.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to construction sites, often in varying weather conditions. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements is essential.
