Yard Truck Specialists stands as the leading dealership for spotter trucks and terminal tractors in the nation. With our headquarters in Philadelphia and additional branches, we excel in selling, renting, servicing, and refurbishing more jockey trucks than any other company, supported by the largest fleet and parts inventory in the industry.
We are currently in search of a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for our parts warehouse. The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in a shipping department and maintain a clean driving record. The standard working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
Key Responsibilities- Retrieve products from storage and prepare them for dispatch.
- Count and confirm part quantities.
- Organize cartons on skids, apply stretch wrap, and label contents accurately.
- Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with carriers for shipment pickups.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Record received items in the system and ensure proper storage.
- Engage in month-end and year-end inventory counts.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment usage.
- Safely operate forklifts; training will be provided.
- Work towards achieving company inventory accuracy objectives.
- Function effectively with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to adhere to established procedures and processes.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with FedEx and UPS shipping systems.
- Experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Basic computer skills.
- Capability to count, verify, and input quantities into the system accurately.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods, reach with hands and arms, and perform stooping and kneeling motions. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
