Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Hines' service standards to provide a superior client experience
  • Assist engineering personnel in upholding Hines Hospitality Standards

  • Respond promptly to service requests and work orders
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Maintain operational logs and documentation pertinent to the property
  • Adjust and modify HVAC systems as required
  • Leverage expertise in HVAC distribution and controls for corrective measures
  • Perform general repairs and replacements of building components
  • Exhibit proficiency in emergency protocols and life safety systems
  • Comply with all safety and environmental regulations, codes, and laws
  • Participate in water treatment chemical initiatives
  • Engage in mandatory training sessions and workshops

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years of experience in commercial HVAC or a related field
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Completion of relevant training programs
  • Functional understanding of Engineering Assessment Guidelines
  • Capability to utilize testing instruments and hand tools
  • Knowledge of power tools and equipment maintenance
  • Comprehension of building operations and DDC controls
  • Proficient computer skills for engineering applications
  • Ability to work in various environments, lift objects, and meet shift requirements
